THAT ONE FEELSY ALBUM | About: TRACK 2 | "The Fear"

This piece is about people in society being afraid to chase after what they really want. I was originally inspired by seeing Larkin Poynton/Side by Side Dance Company perform at urban paradise 2015. To me, I feel like everybody is afraid of something. Whether that be a physical or mental thing, the fear is always holding people back from what they can truly be. This piece is about embracing that fear and discovering new potentials. I asked Crystal Chan and Rosalind Hsu, both amazing movers, to help me fulfill this vision. Lastly, since this was filmed almost a year ago, this piece brings nostalgia to my heart.
